There Comes A Time…

Where you have to make decisions!

I am not that great at them.

I usually try to avoid them I admit that.

But there does come a time when I get really moody as a decision has to be made and I am hell to live with.

That has been the case for a while, I wasn’t happy with the blog, well blogs, I changed that hoping it would help. It didn’t and to be honest I knew that it wouldn’t. Although it did help my blogging, I love having this site and being here, but it didn’t help my grumpiness in general. Mainly because they were a problem having so many, but they weren’t the REAL problem.

You see the real issue has been the business, it has been for a while.

Boo is demanding, I am not going to lie, he has thrown some serious curve balls into this parenting malarkey and I have found it really hard. Reflux, bronchitis, croup all things he can’t help but my goodness it has been hard. On top of that we have Baba, who bless him for five years had me and Daddy all to himself he now has to share and he does find it hard.

We all do.

Since I started Scrapbookerry we have gone from a one parent child to being pregnant, loosing Rhianna, loosing Dave, having Boo and loosing Tito.

I had Boo and I ran my own business, I had him in December my busiest time, and threw myself straight back into work. I don’t get maternity pay I am self-employed.

But now six months down the line I need a break. (The flip side of running your own business, I can take a break when needed.)

I have Boo heading into food and getting into everything, Baba battling with his last few weeks of his first year at school, a new hyper dog, who is eating our house from the inside out, and a wedding to plan. I can’t commit to the business one hundred per cent and I am not going to run it badly so I need a break.

I am human something has to give.

I am not sure for how long, but I do know it will be till after the wedding so September at least.

I will be back but for now I am taking a well deserved maternity break. You can read the announcement here.

I will still be updating my Facebook page so you can see what I am doing, what I am making and where the future for Scrapbookerry is going but currently my boys need me and being Mumma is top priority!

Let’s just hope you are all there when I come back!
