The Start Of The Week

We started this week ready to crack on with another week of remote learning, and even though the boys weren’t too happy about it we did kind of get into a little tentative routine last week.

There are still teething problems but I felt we had a bit of system going when we all got up yesterday.

It clearly wasn’t meant to be.

We had many tech issues yesterday.

Which resulted in myself spending more time on BB’s computer than himself at times.

Nothing seemed to be working correctly and it didn’t matter what we did we couldn’t solve it.

Technology is great until it goes wrong hey!

It was a stressful day for me!

I have to say though the boys just carried on.

BB worked through as much as he could and had some strange lesson planning happening picking things up as and when he could.

Boo was a star and ploughed through his in between the moments that I was in technology hell with his brother upstairs.

Neither complained.

Neither moaned.

I was nearly at my breaking point.

By the time it was bedtime yesterday I had had enough.

And really didn’t want to repeat that day again.

I was dreading today to be honest.

I was worried it would be just as stressful as it was yesterday.

And thankfully it was a much smoother day.

Technology worked, the kids worked and it seemed to be a bit of a breeze compared to yesterday.

Don’t in anyway think we have nailed it, we haven’t but today was good, and all honesty I am taking this whole remote learning day by day so this one counts as a win.

None of us can predict these days and I think it is important to not feel bad about them when they don’t go as planned.

There will be days that it will go wrong.

We are human it happens and there are a lot of things we are relying on for these days to go smoothly.

So don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t go to plan.

They wont every day.

But the days that work will work and they are the ones to be remembered!
