The Mind Has Been Opened

So Tuesday and Wednesday were my first days of our new routine of me being back working from home.

They were manic, constantly filled with hard work and really making my brain work but I loved every minute of them.

Tuesday I was making things and started a gorgeous new explosion box, which I have not completely finished but it is nearly there and I loved it. I really had forget how in the zone I get. How I can switch everything off and just make! I love that state that I get into I. I don’t think about things that are concerning me or bothering me, it is a relaxation I suppose, as soon as I start making and being the scrapbooker those other things disappear and I am in one zone only.

The only problem is I came out of Tuesday with so many things that I wanted to make I don’t know whether I shall ever get the time! I am sure I will but not 100% sure when.

Yesterday was my writing day. I wrote for England yesterday, and I loved every minute of it. I really had to think and research some points, but I loved it. I literally sat at the computer all day and my hands actually hurt. Especially as I can’t type properly, as I sliced my forefinger with the knife Monday night, but even so I managed.

I feel like I have a purpose again, there is something exciting about being me. It is great not to just be cleaning and ironing when Baba is at his Nannies, it is great to have a purpose and to know I have those seven hours and I need to work. I have to work.

I still have some work to do this evening, I have four things to make in the craft room, and then have to write a couple of articles about them. I have tomorrow when he is at school as well. So I think I am actually on target to hit the deadlines this week.

But until this evening I am being mummy. I haven’t seen Baba for two days and I am not spending all day on the computer with him we are off out at 10am and we are going to have a good day.

As for the cleaning and ironing well they may never happen again! I am liking they are on the back burner this makes me happy!
