And Breathe…
So Mr L and have both got our first weeks over with on our new jobs.
It has been a little hectic, he has been learning new things and I don’t think I have actually stopped all week. I still have a little to do today but generally we are done for this week.
The hardest thing has been still being Mummy and not letting the writing and designing take over my life. I don’t want to get into just being on the computer when Baba is around so I have been really strict with myself and have tried to only do things, first thing when he watches the hideous children programmes and later in the evening. But it has been difficult. I have ideas swirling around in my head constantly, for things to write, things to make and blog posts to finish off. I need some books, I have always had notepads for my blog posts on here, but I think I need another for Brew Drinking Thinking’s and a big sketchbook for my scrapbooking and ideas.
For many years I used to sketches to help with my scrapbooking but I stopped I don’t know why but this week I got back into it and I do find it quicker and easier for making things. It is something I can do quickly and then develop later. As I am finding that I am forgetting things so easily at the moment.
So this week I have made three cards and half way through an Explosion Box, but I need to get making, making, making.
Scrapbookerry has flown this week, I have been asked to do some amazing things but I need to work out the pragmatics of whether it is all possible. If it is it could be amazing. But I would need a lot of stock in a few weeks and I am just not sure whether it would be feasible. It is going to take some thinking. I have had another order for next week, which is very exciting. So I am cracking on with them this week. I have also am having an exciting meeting about a future plan for the Website! I can’t wait, if we can sort out all the details it will be a fantastic addition to the new website. So it is all go.
My diary is so full and it is all exciting things, Baba has loads of things in there as well. We have had a great week going to the beach, toddler group and getting out in the garden in the sunshine. Unfortunately all Baba wanted to do was go horse riding and his Auntie was working but hopefully soon.
This week Mr L and I have both noticed how far Baba has come with his speech. He is now saying full sentences and they really do make sense. Some are hard to understand, as he does leave the beginning of words sometimes. But we generally get there. He is turning into a full scale chatterbox at the moment, never stopping talking throughout the day and night. Yes he talks in his sleep. But it is really making things easier he can now tell us what he wants and it helps so much.
We are all tired, we have had such a busy week Mr L is working a couple of hours away and that has taken it out of him and I have been working every hour available to get things done. But we have enjoyed it all. It is lovely to be back working and doing things. However this weekend, there is going to be some making today and then tomorrow we are going to relax. Ready for next week to begin!

Great to see them develop isn’t it? Exciting times on so many fronts for you!
