The Big Sort Out

One thing I try to do before Christmas every year is have a bit of a sort out of the boys things more than anything.

Sort through their clothes, toys, books and just general muck their rooms out a bit.

They accumulate so much stuff over the year and both having birthdays very close to Christmas means they have a lot of new bits coming in in a short space of time and before we know it their rooms are overflowing with stuff that isn’t always going to be used and everything is everywhere.

This year they are both being particularly difficult about what they want for Christmas not really coming up with anything and it is making it hard to tell people what to buy them!

So this year I am even more determined than usual to sort through their rooms to try to work out what they actually want for Christmas.

Tonight we have made a start on their clothes, there are still a few bits that need to be put away and washed but we have made a huge impact on both their rooms straight away.

Both have chucked out a huge pile of clothes and both have chucked put daily decent clothes this time around.

Generally I keep a lot of BB’s clothes for Boo and Chuck out Boo’s clothes either sending to charity shop or to the school for the textile event. I am not really a person that tries to sell their clothes.

But actually this time we have a lot.

And a lot of it is still decent and has a lot of life left in it so I am going to attempt to sell a few bits and see how I get on with it.

See if I can’t get a few pennies back from this mass sort out this time!
