Temperature Blanket – January Update

After realising I had made a lot of mistakes in my first attempt at my temperature blanket and starting it all over again, I finished January and started February very behind with my blanket.

But I was determined to make sure that I caught up quickly so that I could get back on track with it.

And finally I have got there.

It has taken a few solid days of knitting when the kids have been at school.

But I am completely up to date and I am really liking the look of the blanket at the moment.

We have regular had temperatures between 5-9 degrees, the dark blue and between 10-14 degrees, the light grey. And to be honest I am not sure that is going to overly change soon.

But how the colours are coming out at the moment I really like and can’t wait to see how this blanket unfolds over the rest of the year!

I am not making this complicated and am doing a knit row and a purl row for the whole of the blanket.

Keeping it simple but effective and letting the colours actually be the centre stage for this one.

And I have to admit I really am enjoying generally not knowing what it is going to end up looking like.

I have decided the colours for all the different temperatures but as I don’t know what the temperatures will be or when I really can’t picture what it will look like at the end of the year.

And that makes this whole project a lot more interesting.
