Sickness, Well Again, Sick Again

So I am assuming Baba has a bug, but I am a little confused if I am honest.

He was sick on Thursday and was quite poorly throughout the day, Friday he seemed fine. He was perky and playing, and he wanted to go out and he seemed to just have a 24 hour bug. He felt so much better that we even went and brought a hamster with his Christmas money.

So we thought we were over the worst of it.

Saturday he went out for the day with Mr L and was a little sick in the morning, but Mr L put it down to him drinking a strawberry milkshake very quickly. He came home at lunchtime and seemed fine, he had a coughing fit and was sick again about 3pm but we did just put it down to coughing. He still seemed 100% fine, he was running around and playing with his new toys. As he had been over 48hrs since he was last sick I don’t think we actually thought any of it was connected.

By 6pm he was violently sick and pretty much brought up everything that he had eaten throughout that day. He said he felt poorly and wanted to pretty much go to bed straight away. However he slept very well for the rest of the night and we didn’t hear anything from him until 7pm, when he started to try to be sick, but didn’t actually bring anything up at all.

So we cancelled all of our plans yesterday and had a really quite day just giving him toast and some flat coke, and he seemed fantastic. He kept everything down and was bright and breezy from about 1pm, he seemed to be getting over whatever he had. He had gone over 24 hours again without being sick so again we thought we were over the worst of it. However at 4.30am this morning he was again violently sick and brought up everything that he had eaten over the day. So we thought that we would be making a trip to the doctors this morning.

However Baba went straight back to sleep after being sick, and he woke up this morning, full of spirit running around and playing and wanting to eat everything. So I feel a complete and utter fraud taking him to the emergency doctor when he seems completely fine again. I am just not sure whether it is a bug or something is upsetting him, I can’t decide. So we are going to see how he goes today and I may have to take him back to the doctors tomorrow depending on how today pans out!
