And We Start Again
Today is the day that we all go back to normality in our house. It should have been yesterday but to be honest, Baba and I just chilled and did nothing all day. We played, we watched a couple of movies and that was about all we did. The weather was foul and it didn’t really inspire us to do anything.
Last year we had a plan, Baba went to pre school all day Monday and Friday morning, he then went to my mums on a Tuesday and Mr L mums on a Wednesday and our day together was a Thursday. The rest of the time I worked on Scrapbookerry.
This year it is all a little different, we are waiting to hear if Mr L’s mum will be around in the week as she is currently looking for a different job, and Baba is now off to pre school Thursday mornings as well. So I am reluctant to send him to my mums on a Tuesday as well. I am currently working on the getting no help from grandparents and trying to work my new years work schedule around the day and two mornings that he is at pre school. It is taking some working out, and I am not sure whether to have my mum and dad pick him up one day from pre school if they still want to look after him. But it is a fine line isn’t it, as I work from home I don’t want them to feel that I am taking the mick by asking them to have him. But I can do so much more work when he is not at home with me so it is something we are all going to have a think about over the next few days. I am also not sure how the extra morning is going to affect him tiredness wise. I think he ready to do the extra morning. He loves pre school, and he has such a good time there, that he will love doing an extra morning. But I wonder whether that will tire him out on the last two days of the week. Tomorrow is going to be the test, Baba hasn’t got up before nine for nearly a week now, and we need to be out the house by nine so that is going to be interesting.
But as for today he is off to his Nannies today and I am at home blitzing the house, sorting out the massive pile of washing that has seemed to grow over the Christmas period and finally find a place for all these toys that are overtaking my house. They seem to be multiplying, I swear we didn’t have this many a couple of days ago! These items need to be sorted and decided where they are all going.
We have a massive job later in the year, when we finally move the craft room, again, that craft room has a regular move every year at the moment, and make a playroom, and games room up in the top room. But that is a job that needs Mr L and me, and it is going to be a tough tough job, we also need a bit more money for this job as well. We need some new furniture and some new bits and bobs to add to the room to make it how we want it to be. So it a task for later in the year that is for sure! Today I just need to get some order in the house, it is driving me mad. So if I am a little quiet today it is mainly because I am holed up in a pig sty and can’t get out for the foreseeable future! But hopefully I should be out before the end of the night! Wish me luck!
