Over the past few weeks I have been having a huge sort out at home.
It currently has resulted in boxes of clothes the kids no longer fit in, and toys we no longer use.
And I am not even finished.
I have to be honest with myself there is still more to sort.
But I need to get selling the stuff I have sorted.
But I just am not sure where or how to sell it.
Do I stick to the normal Facebook selling pages?
Shall I sell it via the blog?
Do I set up a specific page on Instagram and sell it on there?
Shall I stick to the normal Ebay?
Or what about Vinted, Shpock?
Or is there something else?
I am not sure what is the best, and what I should go for so currently I am staring at the boxes and really really want them gone before the decorations arrive.
So what would your advice be?
Where would you sell kids toys and kids clothes?
I have a similar issue disposing of my late husband’s clothes and other effects, books etc. I have decided that selling individual items is too much hassle and not sound economically… especially when I cost in my time. As a result I am taking his clothes to charity shops in the inner city area where I feel people’s need is the greatest.
The books will go to a charity bookshop.
Toys are often needed at women’s refuges. Also near us, we have an organisation that gathers together children’s clothes and toys. Then people pay what they can afford for the items. There might be something similar near to you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Some things are definitely going to charity but some things are very good items and have barely been touched. So they will be sold instead. But it is certainly going to take some time as there is a lot to get through x
