Personalised Memorial Vase

Recently we brought a cricut and one of the things I really wanted to make with it was a personalised Memorial Vase for Rhianna Lily.

Ten years after her birth, and death we still can’t decide on her headstone, it isn’t a case of her dad and I not deciding one we like together. But it is more of a case of us never finding one that feels just right.

It’s very strange picking a headstone for a child. When she first passed away I was adamant I wanted a baby style headstone, something with a teddy bear or something. But as she has got older I don’t feel that is so appropriate any more.

And who knows what I will think is appropriate or should be her headstone when she should be eighteen or twenty. So it is tough one for me. For us both. So she currently still has no headstone. Instead just her little plaque.

She has had memorial vases before, a special daughter one, but I really wanted to make this a personal one just her, one that stood out.

So I used my cricut and some permanent vinyl and made this personalised Memorial Vase for Rhianna Lily’s garden.

I have never tried to do anything like this before being that I am very new to the cricut.

But I really love how it turned out.

It looks amazing on her garden and really shows up beautifully, with the black and the purple it is a great colour combination and I really am so pleased I went for it and made it.

Until we can decide on her headstone it is the perfect alternative for her garden at the moment. And makes it all so bright and beautiful!
