New Routine…

So it is a couple of weeks since Baba started school now, and we are all getting used to our new routine!

Baba is flying, he loves his new teachers, he loves his class, and he loves the routine.

He is up bright and early and having something for breakfast, we are still not great at that, so eating anything is an achievement and is all ready on time, waiting to be let out of the door.

I am not allowed in the gate of his classroom, I have to wait and he gives me a kiss and a cuddle and disappears for the day.

Considering he knew no one when he arrived, he seems to be super popular and has lots of friends and has a great day every day.

He comes home chatty and tells me snippets of the day. I don’t ever get the full day, but I get little bits.

He loves getting his library book every Monday and gets us to read it to him throughout the week.

He loves everything about it.

So everyday he runs in and then I am left!

And it is me that has the problem…

I should be using these 6 hours every day to my advantage and working hard on Scrapbookerry, and making it a full-time income rather than a part-time!

But I don’t seem to have any routine.

I spent the first few days sorting out the house for once and all. To make it easier to keep on top off, but still all I seem to do is tidy and clean.

Actually I seem to do a lot every day, but get nothing done!

At all

I don’t seem to have time to blog, here, on Rhianna’s or my craft blog, and I don’t seem to have time to work.

I have lost my mojo and can not find it.

I am trying to sort some things out behind the scene, the admin side of things, but it is all the other stuff. The actually nitty-gritty of making things, and crafting and scrapbooking, and I need to get some system.

I also need to study!

Which is something that really should be happening now.

But I just can’t seem to work out how to do it and what system is the best way! I seem to have no system and just run around like a headless chicken and get nothing achieved.

So what do you work at home mum’s do and what system do you use?

And how do you get it all done? As I really need some tips!

  • Kerry, I have struggled with this in the past and now I find it best to write a plan of what I am going to do when during each day. I don’t always stick to it 100% but it helps me get a lot more done. Also, I’ve seen a tip that says write down 3 things before bed that you want to achieve tomorrow and that can help ensure stuff does get done rather than flitting from one thing to another.

    Hope this helps.

    • Thank you I have been doing this the last few days and it has really helped, I have actually got things done thank you xx

We love comments so please leave some
