Nearly Four!

This morning Baba’s birthday presents arrived, in one month we will have a four-year old on our hands. It doesn’t seem possible that he is nearly four.

This year seems to be the first year that he really has ideas for what he wants for his birthday and Christmas. Long gone are the days where he is happy with just cars, or tractors. He does still like them but over the summer we have developed love for specific things.

We are now into Scooby Doo, Spiderman is our favourite cartoon, and he spends many hours with Daddy watching old school Spiderman on Netflix. He is developing a love for all cartoons, Batman, and Ironman are also favourites but Spiderman is a complete and utter favourite. He also has a love for Angry Birds, and regularly will be seen playing on his tablet computer and he is better than Mr L and I put together. He has a love for the game. So much so that his bedroom is in the middle of being decorated.

In the last month or so we have developed new loves, love of collecting things. We now seem to have over 70 odd Trashies and he constantly asks for Trash Packs, we are collecting Series 2 but there is a Series 3 coming as well, Baba has seen it on TV so I think that this collecting will be going on for a long time yet.

We now know every shop that sells Trash Packs in a 30 mile radios of our home. He saves his pennies to by them, and he is thankfully still at the age where he does not mind having duplicates, there are just the twins or triplets he is happy with that. But is super happy when he gets different trashies and has already put in his birthday order with what trash pack items he wants for his birthday from Nanny and Grandad.

Baba has also developed a love for Hex Bugs. He has wanted them for ages and ages and really has been asking for them since Christmas last year. We have managed to put him off with them to be honest, but yesterday he finally convinced Daddy and Nanny that he needed some and hasn’t stopped playing with them since. Who would know that you could have so many games with Trash Packs and Hex Bugs together.

Well you can.

If you position all your trashies around a big box then you set of the hex bugs and the one that hits the most trashies wins! It is a game that he has been playing all morning and he has been having great fun with it.

So I think by the end of Christmas we are going to have a house full of Spiderman, Scooby Doo, Angry Birds, Trash Packs and Hex Bugs. It’s a new development of toys, and I think that it is time to get out some old and make space for some new!
