Kre-O Cityville Haunted House Review
Baba has a fantastic imagination, and loves to create things and he can spend hours building things with blocks and various forms of Lego and creating in-depth stories with the figures that are included. So when we were offered the Kre-O Cityville Haunted House to review we knew that he would love it.
In fact he had been asking for it for a while.
He has seen it in our local store, and as it also is a haunted house, his other secret passion we knew that it would be an instant hit, and we weren’t wrong.
He loved it before he even opened it.
The fact that the box has a great handle on it, meant that Baba could own it from the very beginning, there was no asking me or Mr L to help him move it up to his bedroom like he does with his other boxes he could take it up there straight away, and the slanted box actually was easier for Baba to get into. This made it all very exciting as usually he can’t get into these boxes without me or Daddy around.
Mr L helped him build it and it was actually very simple to build, and didn’t have silly instructions. All the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it was built in under an hour (with Baba helping). Baba was able to build the car on his own and didn’t need any help with this. Which meant that he could amuse himself while Mr L was building the rest, as these builds can, and have been known to result in massive rows as Baba gets in the way and wants to play asap before things are built properly. Which helped the building to be completed quickly.
There were two things that Baba was so excited about firstly the figures he loved all of these, and the spiders as well, they have had many different stories around them. The spiders can be found in various places around our house, and he has great delight in making me jump by placing them right in my sight.
But the most exciting part is that Sonic Motion Technology which means that the figures can move around on the play set via little grey platforms. Baba thought this was amazing, as this was something he had never seen before and it created a lot of excitement for him.
All in all this is a great toy for Baba, it was easy to construct and has really kept his imagination going. It has become a firm favourite and is a toy that has been repeatedly played with since he got it and has created hours of fun for him.
It is something that we would strongly recommend to his friends that are off similar ages.
