Home Grown Strawberries

I have to be honest our vegetable patch this year has been a bit of a disaster.

We really haven’t done that well this year.

Most things haven’t grown that well and the few things that have grown don’t seem to be doing that well.

So it has been a bit of a washout.

But we have had one success and that has been our strawberries.

This week we have had lots of strawberries finally rippen and the boys were very pleased that the one thing that has grown well is the one thing that they both like.

I honestly am not sure if we will get anything else good enough to eat this year.

But am determined to learn more about growing your own vegetables and getting better with this for the winter and next year.

But I have a feeling a need to seriously invest in a greenhouse so that we can really get to grips with this whole vegetable growing.

And that in itself seems a mind field.

For now we will just concentrate on eating our Homegrown strawberries.
