Hello To 2015

So it’s a new year!

Before I say anything I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of Scrapbookerry’s followers, customers, old and new and anyone that just likes to see what we are doing.

We wouldn’t be here without you, and I want to say a massive thank you, for your support, and custom over the past year.

And what a year it was.

It saw a shift in the business and a long break from me, after only just having Boo. It was something that I needed to do, and now a year later I am so pleased that I took the break. I worked up and beyond Boo being born and I was so tired when I started 2014 a break was totally what was needed.

It meant that I had the time to sit down and finally make a website that I wanted.

It was a learning curve, having never dealt with my own e-commerce before I had to learn a lot. I wanted a complete change, and it was really hard work for a couple of months, I had the ideas but I couldn’t grasp how to put them into practice. There was a lot of trial and error and a couple of very loyal customers that checked, and checked again for me. I am so grateful for them and for the fantastic support team from my hosting company which helped me to finally make this site live.

It was something I had wanted for a long time and I am so pleased I made the giant leap into the unknown as I at last have the site that I want, and one that I can change as and when I need to or want to.

Last year along with a site change, also saw the blog move and the logo change for Scrapbookerry. The blog has become more of a learning place, rather than me talk about random pieces, I am trying to make it more useful for our customers, and I hope I am achieving that. 2014 saw the first series of Keep Your Photos Safe #keepyourphotossafe and I have more series planned for 2015, kicking off with a brand new series, Organising Your Photos #organisingyourphotos

I had a plan for some ebooks in 2015 but with the new VAT rules, these are being sidelined, however there will be some new aspects of Scrapbookerry very soon, ones that enable you as the customer to become more hands on which I am really excited about and I hope you will be too.

I have a lot of plans for different albums as well, smaller ones and some luxury ones that will take a lot more photos than the albums we currently have in our range.

2015 looks to be a good year, and I can not wait to show off and spend the next twelve months with you.
