Halloween 2014

We have always done Halloween, it is a yearly event we go off to my sisters and the kids have tea with a couple of their friends and then they go trick or treating. Baba loves it. I actually think he gets as excited if not more excited about Halloween than he does for Christmas.

The temptation of the sweets is what does it I am sure.

He literally bounces around the house for days before hand and days after.

It is lovely to see.

So I try to make a big effort with it for him making sure that he has a fab costume and that it is something that he wants.

This year was Boo’s first Halloween and this made Baba even more excited. He loved the fact that he had someone to share it with.

He was so excited Boo was going to be involved.

This year for the first time we went to a little place near us that does a pumpkin display.

We have never done pumpkins on our own in our house because we don’t do Halloween here. Baba does them with my sister but he has never done his own pumpkin in his own house, that is a job for us to do next year.

He loved this pumpkin display, he was shocked at the different types of pumpkins and the size of them!

He was also amazed at the colour of them, having never really seen a lot of them he only thought they were orange, all these different colours shocked him and he was amazed bless him.

As for the display both Baba and I were amazed.

It was amazing what they had managed to do with all those pumpkins. It took Boo a while before he realised what he was looking at, but when he did his face was a picture. He was giggling away and him and Baba had a great time looking at all the pumpkins.

It wasn’t massive, but it was something that they both seemed to love looking at and it is something that we will be going to next year. As of course we need to get our pumpkin!

But who needs a pumpkin when you can still get dressed up and go trick or treating, although Boo stayed at home with his uncle, luckily as he was poorly the next day.

But aren’t they the most adorable dressed up duo for Halloween!

I think all in all it was a successful Halloween this year! And I can not wait for the next one!
