Half Term

Half term has definitely snuck up on me this year.

I seem to have blinked and the boys are off for a week.

Although it is needed Boo is certainly tired and BB loves the chance to not have set bedtimes and to get up when he likes so they are very happy that they have a week of school at last.

I usually have loads planned for half term, this time we don’t have anything really we have two days we are busy.

But apart from that I have kept it really simple.

I am also having to do some Tropic work this half term.

Usually I put down all tools and do nothing for the week.

But this week I want to get some sales and get people invited to my Open House next week.

So I really need to do some work this week.

So I am going to do half term a little differently with the boys.

Instead of taking full advantage of us not having to get up and turning of my alarm completely for the first couple of days I am going to actually get up the time I usually get up in term time and see if I can’t get some work done while they are still sleeping.

I am going to be honest I am not sure how this is going to work but I am going to try it tomorrow and Tuesday at least and see if I can’t get all the bits and pieces I need doing before the boys wake up.

Hopefully this means I will get a little bit of work done but still be able to spend pretty much all of my time focused on them and we can have a half term of doing things.

Let’s see if this new idea works or if by tomorrow I have decided it is a hideous idea already.
