Half Term
Finally we have hit half term.
It definitely has been a long haul to get to this half term.
It has felt like that the last term has gone on forever and ever.
The boys are both shattered and Mr L and I are knackered too.
It has been a big shock to the system BB going of to high school and us all having to get up earlier for him to leave earlier.
He has done so well doing it and hasn’t once complained but it has taken its toll and he is very tired by the end of the week.
But the first half term is now done, and it is amazing that he loves his new school and has settled into the new routine so well, including the home work. He is a star at doing it and never complains about it. Which is amazing.
Boo has also settled in with his new teacher nicely and even though he doesn’t have to he does a lot of the time get up at the same time as his brother most mornings, so is up a lot earlier than he needs to and the tiredness is really catching up with him.
They are both enjoying being back at school though and so far both are happy they are there.
But they really are in need of the break.
We have no plans really, we were planning to go away but the weather looks pretty hideous so instead we are just at home chilling and enjoying the fact that the boys have no times they have to be up by and can catch up on their sleep and just rest and chill before heading back to school next week.
It is a go with the flow week.
No plans, no schedule, no having to get up too early.
Time to let their bodies catch up on the sleep needed.
To relax.
And just chill.
