Goodbye Three Stone

Last week at Slimming World weigh in, I wasn’t really sure what to expect.

I was hoping for a loss but wasn’t sure where I would be with the loss.

When we went to get weighed Mr L lost a pound a half and realised he is one pound off his three stone award.

And I lost two pounds.

Giving me my three stone award exactly.

I was shocked.

Really shocked I haven’t honestly looked at my total loss has been for a while and so I honestly wasn’t expecting a three stone loss at all.

When I got told that was the amount I had lost, I was in shock, to be honest I am still in shock and have eaten shockingly this weekend and am very concerned that I will have put on weight this week and may have lost the three stone already.

But I am hoping that isn’t the case and next week I will have another loss even if it is just a small loss.

People have been commenting for a while and I think it has only really just hit me that I really have changed in the way I look. And that I really need to start toning up a little bit and actually have a big shop and actually get some clothes that seriously do fit me as I spend all my time just pulling up my trousers now a days and it is getting beyond a bit of a joke!

I am still in shock that this time last year I was exactly two stone heavier than I am now.

We started Slimming World in March 2018 and the day after my weigh in and loosing three stone, my memories on Facebook showed that I had just lost my first stone after joining Slimming World. So it took me one more year to loose two stone.

Which in my head is insane. In a year and nearly three months I have lost three stone!

And Mr L is only 1 pound of loosing his three stone.

Which means we have lost six stone in just over a year between us.

Six stone.

I am seriously proud of us both and so pleased we both walked through the doors of Slimming World.
