Fourth Week Of Remote Learning

So this week is the fourth week of remote learning, and I have to admit that this week I have taken a bit of a different approach.

Last week was hard.

There were some days that were just so so hard.

Hard for me.

Hard for the boys.

And it made being here not that fun.

This week I have tried to change my approach.

I am trying to be a bit more chilled about it, the boys are stars. They both get they have stuff to do, the schools need to be still teaching them, and they have got to unfortunately do it at home. But they get on with it, however strange all of this is.

They are stars.

But I have been getting more stressed out than them.

And we are going to be doing this for a while longer yet, and I don’t want to keep getting stressed out.

So we are getting the work done, but it is a bit more chilled.

BB is developing his own rhythm with his work, and Boo is taking more of a lead with the order he is doing his work in and it seems to be helping the flow, and his eagerness to work each day.

I am making a big conscious effort to just let them chill at the end of the ‘school day’ even though they aren’t really seeing a lot of each other and they aren’t doing anything amazing, they definitely do both need some time to zone out after all the time on the computers doing their school work.

It is important for them and I am letting them have it.

It does make a difference.

I don’t want it to be stressful and that is what I am trying to focus on at the moment.

The last two days do feel more happier than last week, so that is a bonus to me!

Lets hope that we can continue along this path and keep it as relaxed as possible, while doing the stuff that is needed for school.
