Another Week of Remote Learning

Another week of remote learning has passed and this week we have tackled it a bit differently.
BB doesn’t have much flexibility but Boo does have a little and we have tried to use it a little bit. So that it isn’t too stressful.
I have also tried to make sure I get some work done as well.
As actually the first couple of weeks I found super stressful myself as I knew I wanted to be writing and I wanted to be working on my Tropic business and I just couldn’t I just never had any time and it made me super grumpy.
So this week I tried to change it.
I tried to make sure Tropic stuff was completed, that the blog was written and that I felt a bit more me rather than just teacher to the kids.
It has made the house a little calmer.
It has made me feel like I was me rather than this new hybrid of mother, teacher.
And the kids have seemed to be calmer.
The remote learning day seems to have gone easier.
But my the house has fallen apart.
I haven’t got on top of it in the last week and am actually going into a new week with a house that is unorganised and it makes me feel a bit grrrr.
This new month I really am going to try to focus on the rooms in the house and try to get them all organised a bit better.
So we are still learning how to juggle all the balls, actually thats a lie, the boys aren’t juggling, I am juggling all the balls and this week the house has dropped. It is giving me jitters I have to admit but I am realising somethings have to drop, and I would rather it be the house tidiness to be honest.
It’s all such a massive learning curve isn’t it.
I am feeling I have the remote learning in a bit of a routine, however I do say this lightly as just tonight Boo has gone to bed refusing to do anything tomorrow so we shall see how it pans out in the morning.
Honestly we are very much taking each day as it comes.
This week wasn’t too bad.
Both worked well, as they do every single day, I managed to work. We seemed less stressed. For me that is so high on the list of priorities that I am taking last week as a win, even with the house needing to be sorted.
It is another week done and we are starting another week of remote learning.
But the bonus is we are one week closer to the half term where there will be no expectations, no learning and a lovely relaxed chilled week.
And I don’t know about you but I am holding onto that week at the moment.
All of us can’t wait!
