February

February was a bit of a non starter month to be honest.

I had many plans for the month. But it all went a bit pair shaped when the eldest got covid, then I got covid and then the little one got covid.

None of us were massively ill, thankfully, we all had different symptoms and all felt different levels of ill, and we were all in for at least seven days. Poor Boo was in for eight days and was finally allowed out just for a couple of days before he was poorly again.

And no one really knew what was wrong, but it took a good week for him to get better again.

So between that and covid February kind of disappeared and all my plans went with it.

It was a strange month, we spent a lot of it isolating, then being ill again and then we were in with storms raging for a few days.

Then it was half term.

The boys had been home for most of the month but the half term was needed. If for no other reason than for the boys to recoup and get themselves back on top form before the new half term starts again this week.

It was definitely the week we needed.

We got to chill.

We got some family time.

We got out and about.

We filled up our cups.

We got some fresh air.

And I feel like we are all ready to hit this next half term, and next month feeling better, energised and ready to get working on the plans we had for February.
