Explaining School Trips!

Today Baba went on a pre-school trip to the Aquarium, he has been on a couple of trips with his pre-school before and he comes home and says that the trip was good, and that is about all we hear about the trip.

Today was very different.

He woke up very excited to start with and could not wait to get to pre-school. When he came home I expected the usual ‘it was good’ from him and that was it.

Instead I got an afternoon of talking about fish, star fish, sharks, stingrays, and crabs. He literally went through every animal that he saw at the aquarium and told me everything that he learnt about them.

He told me he stroked some crabs, explained how big they were, what the differences between each crab was and everything he learnt he passed onto me. As soon as Mr L walked in the door Baba started again telling his Daddy everything that he learnt.

It was a new experience with a school trip, we actually got to learn about what he did, who he sat next too, the people he held hands with and everything that happened and it was lovely to see how excited he was and how much he loved the trip.
