End Of Summer Madness

This week has been full of end of summer madness.

We seem to have been rushing around this week.

Seeing people we haven’t managed to see all summer.

Finishing off the school shopping. Which I have to admit has not been that bad this year, although I made an error thinking I had double packs of shirts for BB and had singles so we had to do an emergency run today to get some more. Luckily we found some to save the day.

He also did announce that he needed new trainers so that was also a rush to get them today, but thankfully first pair he saw he liked and that job was done and dusted within minutes.

Boo has been a lot easier this year and only really needed a few items and has been quite simple to get ready for school. Getting him into school will be the difficulty, he has already clearly stated he doesn’t want to go. So I am not looking forward to Monday morning to be honest. But I am sure we will survive.

On top of the usual end of summer craziness we have also had a massive sort out at home.

We have gone through clothes, toys and books and we have a lot of stuff that we have cleared out of the house and it feels amazing to have a massive sort out to be honest.

There are still a few things to sort. Coats and bags but it always feels fab to have a massive clear out.

And then on top of that there is some huge behind the scenes stuff happening as there are some new things coming very soon. Which I am so excited about and can not wait to tell you all about them.

It is good to have something that is exciting and new and something to focus on. It is something I am definitely going to need once the schools go back. So I am pleased I am preplanning and getting something new to focus on. And I can’t wait to see where both of the new things I am planning will go.

So yes it is mad here at the moment, but it is also exciting. And I can’t wait to tell you all about it all as it all comes together over the next few weeks.
