Dreaming a Dream
Being an adult can become boring, and can be hard.
A lot of the time, you spend most of the time, working to get money, and paying bills.
After we had Baba we spent a lot of time juggling our money, making sure we had enough to pay the bills, as I am sure most people do.
But sometimes you have to disregard the money and think of the dreams.
Have a plan for the future so to speak.
This weekend has just been about our dreams, investigating them and actually seeing if they are possible.
It hasn’t been about the reality of everyday life
It has been about what we want in the very near future and what we want in the future.
One has been a life long dream and one has been something we have wanted to do since we lost Rhianna.
One seems very achievable and will hopefully be sorted very soon, the other has a bit of a longer term plan with it, but after this weekend we now know it isn’t just a pipeline dream. It is a dream that is possible, and before today we didn’t even know that.
Once it is possible, it is just a matter of time, for when it will happen. And that is where we are with it right now.
But you know what it feels good.
It feels so good, not to be thinking about the everyday.
But to be thinking about not one but two of our dreams, and knowing that they will both be realities.
One day I will be sitting here writing about them both, and they both will make our families, and our lives so much better. Richer, and healthier and will create so many memories.
That is something money can’t buy, you can juggle your pennies forever but it doesn’t buy healthier, it doesn’t buy memories. But these dreams will.
And I am excited.
Excited to be thinking out of our box.
Excited to be starting on a journey of great things for both the boys, and on a legacy for Rhianna!
