Dog Walking, Nature and Resting

The boys still have six more days of their Christmas holidays and we are taking the time to slow down and rest after all the mayhem before Christmas.

If the boys had their choice they would be on their computers all day every day.

But they don’t and they arent.

We have made an agreement for this year they can have a go on their computers for a while, if they have behaved, if they have played some sort of other game, board game Lego etc or done some art and if they have been outside, and it is no longer something they will play every single day!

Today we have played some board games and taken the dogs for a long walk over our local common.

This holiday is a long one, but I am pleased they have a longer holiday.

December is so manic with a birthday in the middle of the normal December craziness it is nice to be able to chill and be doing everything at a much slower pace for a few days before we start on the new school term and all the mayhem that comes with it.

For these few days we have one thing planned the rest of the time it is chilled mornings dog walks, playing with the Christmas gifts and just relaxing and resting before all the normal routines kick in!
