Do You Plan?
Do you plan?
One thing I have begun to realise is that I don’t plan.
Don’t get me wrong I love a diary, I love a list, and I love to see what activities we have on the go for the future.
But when it comes to a plan, a plan for work things, a plan for Tropic or for the blog, or even a meal plan.
It doesn’t happen.
I could spend hours on a gorgeous looking plan, I could plan out my posts, I could plan out my social media and I could plan out my meals/.
I could spend a whole day on these plans.
And then I could walk away and not do anything on the plans.
Not one thing.
I could decide I didn’t fancy that meal, I wanted to have a take away, I wanted a salad instead of a pie, and vice versa and time meant I didn’t have the time to make that or this and I would change it for something else.
I could plan the days of the week via the blog, write a meal plan on Mondays, a bit of Tropic on Tuesdays, some scrapbooking on Saturday, but it would then become more of a chore than an enjoyment and the plan would disappear.
I don’t plan these things, I go with by the seat of my pants most of the time.
If I finish some craft thing it will be written about, if I make something nice it will be written about.
There is no clear cut plan.
I just go with the flow I want to say but actually I don’t think that is entirely true.
I don’t always know what I am doing and actually feel like I am chasing my tail a lot of the time.
And sometimes things don’t happen, like this space here and before I know it a month has passed and a word has not been written.
Other times I could write four or five blog posts a day.
I have two kids, a husband, two dogs, two reptiles, a blog, am a Tropic ambassador, am doing a writing course, and a house with normal household chores in like keeping it tidy, washing and feeding everyone and it does not always work.
I need to work out a way to sort a plan.
A plan that I will follow.
Not one that I will create and then just ignore and never look at again.
I need to get a bit more organised.
I think if I can be more organised I can be more productive and maybe achieve more of the things I want to achieve rather than just thinking about them all the time.
So I am on a mission to get a plan that I can follow, that I will use, that will work for me and make life a little easier on a day to day basis.
