Disney On Ice A Review
We were very lucky to be given some review tickets for the opening night of Disney on Ice at the O2 Arena a couple of weeks ago.
We didn’t mention it to Baba as we knew that he would be mega excited so left it until the actual day, when he woke and saw that Daddy was home, he straight away asked “what we doing today?” Well when we told him we were going to Disney on Ice to see Buzz and Woody he actually couldn’t contain himself.
Once we arrived at the O2 Baba was in awe, him and Mr L went to sit down and eat while I got the tickets sorted, which took a while due to the staff not being briefed properly and not checking their computers. But we were eventually sorted, and I have to say the whole time Baba was a star.
Once we got in and sat down, Baba didn’t actually close his mouth, he was in complete and utter shock and awe. He moved from my lap to Mr L’s lap so that he could get a better view, but he loved every single moment. I have to admit so did Mr L and I as well. It was a fantastic show from start to finish and had all of Baba’s favourite characters. With Mickey, Minnie and Goofy hosting the show, we also saw Mater, Lightening McQueen and some more of the Cars Crew having a race on the ice.

We got to see the Little Mermaid who did a fantastic show and Baba was very excited about the fish on the ice.

We were literally spellbound by Tinkerbell, Baba loves Tinkerbell and really enjoyed the little story. He loved the bubbles coming out of the ceiling! By this point he was getting the whole situation and he was waving at the characters and clapping when he should be. He was getting excited about all the different people coming onto the ice and was really enjoying the show.

Once the interval started, Baba was asking where Buzz and Woody where and my weren’t we in for a treat as Toy Story was the whole of the second half. Baba loved the Toy Story section, it is his favourite movie ever, so he knew the story and he was searching for all the characters. The only thing I would say and it is so minor but only two aliens turned up on the ice and there are three, luckily we had brought Baba a slush puppy in an alien cup in the interval and managed to convince him that the other alien was with us, as he was very concerned.
The whole show finished of with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy and as we were leaving Baba asked where Pluto was, that child doesn’t miss a trick! But as Pluto doesn’t like ice he wasn’t there! He was satisfied with that.

The show was fantastic and I can not fault it in any way, we were quite high up in the audience but still could see everything and Baba really wasn’t concerned. I did expect it to be really cold in there as well, as it is on ice and it really wasn’t the temperature was really pleasant throughout the performance.
I would say that it is a great show to take all the family too, as Mr L and I enjoyed the show just as much as Baba did. After all we all know Disney films don’t we, and there is nothing better than seeing the films brought to live on the ice.
It is something all of us would recommend and we will be buying tickets for next years show without a doubt, we have already decided.
You can find more about Disney on Ice here, and the show is stopping at Birmingham, Sheffield, and Nottingham during the month of November so do try to check it out. It is an outing to remember!
Disclosure: We were provided with tickets for Disney On Ice to review and received no other compensation. All of the opinions expressed in this post are my true own opinions and have not been influenced by the compensation I have received.

We won tickets to see Disney on Ice last year and it was amazing! The only downside was how expensive all of the stuff was to buy!! xx
It was expensive there but luckily Baba had all of his birthday money from his Pops so we took that with us xx
