Day Off

You know I was talking to the lovely Emma about all things weddings yesterday and she made a comment about me having a day off!

Now I don’t know the last time I had a day off, I have not been on the computer as much but I am constantly working, making things, preparing things, scribbling ideas and plans into notepads, and typing post it notes around the computer screen. My brain has not stopped since the day I decided to open the website and start Scrapbookerry. Now I know that is seems that I am not doing a lot on that at the moment, but jeez there is a lot going on behind the scenes.

It really got me thinking that I haven’t generally stopped and stopped my own brain cells for a long long time.

Last night I put the Wii on and Mr L and I played tennis, and golf he thrashed me obviously but it was so much fun. Today we need to pick him up from his work at lunch time, before then I think we are going to go a little earlier and have some fun at the beach with Baba. I just want to relax and have a little time.

Yes I know that Baba will be off next week for six weeks but they are going to be stressful I have three bespoke pieces to finish and wedding stationary to make which I obviously love,  but it is going to be a little busy with him at home all the time. So for today I am having the day off! I refuse to think off work, I have a few deadlines and things that have to be done tomorrow but for today it is our day in the L household and if you don’t like it, well…
