Cuddledry Review

Have you heard about Cuddledry?

Cuddledry is a fantastic company that is run by two fantastic mums Helen and Polly and they make original unbleached organic cotton and naturally grown bamboo baby and toddler towels among other things. Using the organic cotton and natural bamboo means that your babies are not exposed to toxic chemical residues that can be in cotton products. But these products also have higher levels of natural softness and strength meaning each product can be used daily and its softness will remain.

The company started out with a baby apron towel, a great product that means mummy does not get wet either, but now make a variety of products including bathmats, toddler towels, spf50+ poncho towels and toddler bathrobes.

We were given a toddler bathrobe to review and I have to say we were very impressed.

This is what Cuddledry have to say about the Cuddlerobe;

“Probably the softest bathrobe ever made – perfect for your little one. Made with luxurious bamboo fibre and organic cotton, the quality of this little robe is quite unbelievable. Classically designed in natural ecru white, for tots from 12 months to 3 years. Waistband elasticated at the back to keep out draughts and prevent belt from slipping off, so not only gorgeous but safe and practical too. Something your toddler will really enjoy – they love to snuggle and you don’t get snugglier than this!”

When it arrived I was really impressed with how thick the robe is, you can tell it is good quality straight away. Mr L was impressed as well. He is very fussy about bathrobes so that was a good sign straightaway. However he didn’t believe that it would dry Baba so we put it to the test.

Baba loved the robe as soon as we put it on, and it dried him after his bath very quickly. It was so much easier than running around after him with a towel. It was a thumbs up from us and Mr L was impressed as well. But what really impressed me, was we then put it on the radiator over night to dry, now you know what happens when towels go on the radiators, they always go hard and stiff don’t they! That is what I expected to happen with the Cuddlerobe, I was wrong, it dried on the radiator, but remained totally soft. As soft as it was when it arrived. I was very impressed.

We used it again, the next night and have done, every night since then. It is still as soft as it was when we first got it. Baba loves it and says it is warm, and he asks for it so that means he likes it. I am also impressed that it isn’t that expensive, for its quality and how well it works I would happily pay the £24.99 that it retails for. I think it is a fantastic product and we have been having a look on the site for some other products for all the little babies that we know.

If you don’t have children but have dogs, then cuddldry can help you as well we have been looking at the Doggydry Pet Towel I think this will be great for Tito as he gets the whole house wet when he has had a bath, if we could just pick him and dry him. Which we could with this towel it would make bathing much easier in our house!

Cuddledry have been nominated! They have been nominated for a Tommy’s Baby Friendly Awards – Best Nursery Brand, now they are leading the mummy revolution. They are up against some big names for this award, but they are determined to prove that a small mummy run company can compete with them. So how can you help I hear you ask?

All they are asking for is that you

a) VOTE FOR THEM and when you do YOU ARE ENTERED IN A DRAW TO WIN A HOLIDAY! So it’s not a big ask is it.

b) Tell everyone you know to VOTE FOR THEM! Facebook it, tweet it, blog about it, shout about it. Just get everyone voting.

They are a great company, and wouldn’t it be great for a little mummy company to win an award!
