Christmas Shopping

I had all the best intentions today.

I was going to do a quick tidy up after the weekend, and then quickly crack on with some Christmas shopping online and then write a follow up Meal Planning Monday post from last weeks meal plan Monday post.

Instead I took the whole morning to tidy the house, and that was just a quick sweep it took a lot longer than I thought it would.

And then have spent the rest of the day staring at a computer and haven’t really got that far with Christmas shopping.

It definitely takes a lot longer online, I prefer going out to the shops and looking at things myself and buying them there and then.

This whole doing everything online is a bit of a nightmare and seems to have taken me forever to just get a few items today.

I have at least started to make a bit of a dent in it at long last. I can now at least say that some people are completely finished.

It may only be four out of everyone I have to buy for but four our completed and that is a lot more than what I had done yesterday.

But everything else has gone to the way side today.

I still have a good full day shopping to do if I am totally honest, maybe tomorrow it will be a bit quicker doing it all online.

I hope so anyway.

As I don’t really fancy spending another day looking at the screen, trying to find Christmas presents. I really have struggled today as I didn’t have any idea for a couple of people and trying to find inspiration online is quite hard I found today as you aren’t mooching and browsing and don’t get inspired by something that you see as you are wondering around.

Maybe I am missing something and there is a trick to this that I am not seeing.

If there is then please do let me know as I would love to make this process a bit quicker than it is taking.

I really didn’t think it would take as long as it has and honestly thought I would have all this done in one day, and not just four people completed in one day!

But the meal plan has had to step to one side.

And I am not sure if I will manage to post it up this week, or whether it wont be back now until next week.

I am also not sure how much blogging will happen this week, with the fact that I really want to get all the Christmas shopping done by the end of the week. And going by the time scale today I could still be doing this on friday!

I am hoping I will get a bit quicker and it will get easier from tomorrow!

Then at least I can say I have finally finished and feel a bit more calmer and Christmassy than I have done all this year!
