Boo’s First Preschool Visit

Next week Boo turns two!

Where has the time gone.

So a couple of weeks ago we headed off to the same preschool that Baba went to, a tiny little one in a local village, for his first ever visit, to see what Boo really thought of it.

It has changed premises since Baba went, so the whole experience was a new one for Boo and myself. The staff is very much the same, and the set up is very similar to what Baba did. They do the same trips, and have the same plans at different times of the year.

I was a little worried about Boo having a visit, as Baba was away from me a lot before he went to school, he went to both Grandparents regularly and stayed places regularly. Boo isn’t away from me very much at all. He stays at my sisters occasionally and has the odd couple of hours with family but that is all. So I thought that he would be very shy and be an issue going to look around the preschool.

There was no need to worry.

He ran in and got stuck in straight away.

He played with the other children, he spoke to them all. He got involved in the fire engine play and playing with play doh, and generally had a great time.

We went on a Thursday and it was a quieter day, and there were lots of boys that Boo seemed to gel with instantly so it was decided that this will be his preschool morning.

He was having such a good time, that he didn’t want to leave when it was time to go.

Always a good sign that you have found the right place.

So now we are waiting, waiting until he turns 2 and is ready to start preschool!
