Boo’s First Love

A few weeks ago we had a trip to the beach.

That trip resulted in us nipping to the arcades and playing on the teddy machines, and the boys having rides in the cars.

Mr L is a bit of a pro on the teddy machines, I am pretty rubbish and never really win anything. This time by share luck I managed to win Boo a teddy on my first go, (something that I couldn’t repeat if I tried it everyday).

It wasn’t a teddy that he would probably have picked if he had the choice, it is a basic dog, with a little jumper on.

Over the past few weeks Boo his teddy, or Dog Dog as he has been named have become pretty attached.

Boo pushes Dog Dog around in his pushchair daily, and chats to him and sings to him.

Today he even had to have a nappy on, and Boo changed his bum numerous times, because he was wet or dirty.

Boo took Dog Dog into his new playhouse, he had to go on the slide and then when I turned around from sorting out the washing…

Dog Dog was sitting on the seesaw watching Boo going up and down the slide, while he was talking to him the whole time about being on a slide and going wee down it.

He has become really attached to him, and has treated him like his own little baby all day today.

It is really cute to see him, playing and watching his imagination grow.

He is imitating the things that we do while we are looking after him, and it is so cute to see.

I love watching them grow like this.
