Beach Day

Yesterday we got up, got dressed and headed to the beach.

We got their mid morning and stayed until the early afternoon.

It was windy but still lovely down there.

One thing this year has made me realise is how lucky we are where we live.

In one direction we have the fields and woods and in the other we have the beaches and a lot to choose from.

It really is a great place to live.

Yesterday the beach looked amazing.

It was so bright and clear.

And almost looked like a camera filter had been dropped all over it.

And some how by pure fluke as I couldn’t really see what I was taking pictures of I managed to get this seagull in full flight as it whizzed past us while we were sitting on the beach.

It is definitely a keeper!

It was such a nice day.

It was chilled.

It was easy.

BB spent the whole time we were there in the sea and Boo spent the time playing with the stones, trying to cake them open to find diamonds and attempting to start fires with any black stones he saw. He also did a little skimming into the water.

It also meant I got to chill for a couple of hours and then when we came home they were both happy to lay on the sofa and watch a movie.

Love a bit of sea air always makes everyone feel a tad tired!
