Baba’s Bites!
A while ago I started up this blog to fulfill some of my 101 Things in 1001 days list.
35) Think off one thing each day I have done with Baba and keep a record of it. So I can look back on it when I am having a bad day.
91) Think off something that has made me smile before bed each night and let that be my last thought.
It worked will at the time, but then I just lost track with it, and to be honest, I started this blog about Baba so why would I write about him somewhere else. It just didn’t sit well with me and I have been debating what to do with it for months. Well since April when I last posted! Then last night I had a brain wave.
I strongly believe that however stressful Baba and we as a family have been even if we have had the worst day in the world there will be just one moment, and it may be just one moment that Baba will have done something with me or just done something to make us smile in the day. So I am going to be posting little Baba Bites on the blog every day! Nothing major, just a little statement or picture of what he has done, a memory that I don’t want to forget. I may include something we have done together or just something that has made me smile. So the wording for number 35 needs to change;
Instead of being
Think off one thing each day I have done with Baba and keep a record of it. So I can look back on it when I am having a bad day.
It is changing to;
35) Think off one thing each day relating to Baba, activities, laughing, smiling and make a record of it. So I can look back on it when I am having a bad day.
No 91) I will be doing I wont be writing it down but I shall be remembering a nice activity before going to sleep. I have been doing it for a while and it is nice to go to sleep on. It makes you have nice dreams, and a nice sleep, so that will be continuing!
So for my first Baba Bites!
Today Baba amazed me at Sports Day he did all the races bar one at the very end! He loved every moment and as soon as he saw us he told all of his group, “that’s my mummy, and nanny” then there was a long pause and he looked around again, “and my grandad” he was just so excited and it was so funny to watch him. He was a complete and utter star!
