Annie

Today I went to the theatre with some friends to watch Annie.

Annie was one of my favourite films as a child, and I used to watch it over and over when I was younger. Even wrecking the video when I was a child.

So when we saw it was at the theatre this year it was a must that we went. And it actually ended up being a birthday present from my parents.

And I loved it.

It is a show that I would totally go to watch again and is actually one that I really would recommend to other people to watch.

The way they have brought the movie to the stage is brilliant and the singing is amazing and there is also some real little comedy moments in there as well.

It really was a great treat and one that has made me realise I really want to go to the theatre more often than I do go.

In my adult life I have only ever been to see Billy Elliott and Annie and I haven’t actually taken the boys to see any shows.

This I want to change, and to change now and I am wanting to start taking the boys to shows asap and I don’t mind if they are big west end shows or little theatre shows.

I want them to experience watching a musical, to watch the actors and to experience the theatre. It is a magical place to be.

It is an amazing place to be lost in the moment. And I want my boys to experience that.

So any great shows that we should go to see as a family I would love to know.
