And Half Term Is Over

And just like that the boys are in bed early and half term is over.

Today we have had a quiet day.

Mr L made a gorgeous roast, the boys chilled and the house has been tidied.

We have caught up with the washing, the clothes have been put away and the house has been de half termed and everything is all back to normal for the school run in the morning.

I love what I do work wise, I never have an issue with going back to work after a holiday but I hate the boys going back to school.

Neither one of them loves it either, they like school both of them but they would both rather be at home.

And I would rather them be here, even though they drive me insane!

But it has to happen and it is already looking like a busy week.

The weeks planner is up and it is full most days!

So we are straight in at the deep end so to speak.

But we have had a fab half term.

We have seen friends.

We have spent time with family.

And we have just chilled.

We have had activities most days and the kids have thoughly enjoyed it.

We have been dog walking.

We finally got to the history museum! And had a day in London! Somewhere we are actually going to be going to a lot in the next few weeks for different things!

We got to pick pumpkins, carve pumpkins and go trick or treating.

And we got to spend time with family and with lots of friends that we don’t see in school time as we all live so far away.

And we have spent loads of time walking and just being outdoors, even with the hideous weather.

We managed to fit in a cinema trip and saw the new Addams Family movie and they boys both loved it.

So it has been a good break.

A busy but not insanely busy, but full holiday.

One that the boys definitely needed and one that they have definitely enjoyed.

Tomorrow it is back to the norm.

School runs, school days and school clubs and before they know it Christmas will be on us!
