Age 3 Is Approaching

So next week Baba is three!

I am not really sure where the time has gone, it only seems like yesterday that I was getting ready to give birth, let alone being ready to plan a 3rd Birthday party!

This year for the first time Baba has requested a party, he has asked for a few certain friends, and before I knew what had hit me, or what I had said a Scary Dinosaur Party was in full swing!

Today we are printing of the invites, buying some stamps to post them and I think we will be taking a trip to the shops to find a few Scary Dinosaur decorations! Buying some items for pass the parcel, party bags and a few prices for musical bumps. As you do!

So far we have invited 10 of his little friends all round to ours for next weekend! It is going to be mayhem, but I am sure they will all enjoy it! I am sure I will be shattered as I will be doing all the preparing and getting ready, making the food, sorting the cake! Did I mention the cake! I need to make a dinosaur cake for next week oh joy! I am ok at baking although I have never made a proper cake before, I think I shall be buying some icing today to have a little play as I don’t want it to be a disaster! Which I have to admit I am a little scared that this will happen!

This year is a little different Baba has expectations of his party, he is actually very excited about, he wants to see Dinosaur Rex! (Hunt for a fancy dress costume going to be happening) and he has told everyone in site that he is having this party! So lets hope it goes ok! Wish me luck, and if you have any tips please do shout them out loud, although I don’t want to be hearing not to have it in my house!
