A Blogging Book

Many years ago when I first started blogging I had a notebook where I wrote down all my ideas for blog posts.

I didn’t actually write the blog posts, but I would scribble down any ideas for them and scribble them in there and then if I wasn’t sure what to write I always had a book full of ideas that I could fall back on.

It worked well to be honest, the book itself was filled up and put away a couple of years ago now and I have noticed that actually the regularity of my blog posts has decreased massively since I haven’t had something like the book that I used to have.

And I want to write more, it is one of those things that is on that dreaded list of doom that I am working through slowly.

So this week I decided that I should have another blogging book in use.

I found this black empty notebook on my shelf of notebooks, and thought that it would be a great one to use as my blogging book. Mainly because it fits in my smallest bag, meaning I can take it around with me where ever go. Meaning that I can write down ideas whenever they come to me.

But it was a bit boring and was just plain black on the outside, but not boring inside, inside it was perfect.

So I set about making the outside more interesting and got out my silver pen and wrote blog on the front and drew some stars and stripes down the spine. It is now totally unique and I love that about it.

And inside it is a gorgeous notebook, as well as space to write blog post ideas there is also creativity space.

On every couple of pages there is a space for some colouring, and I love that as when I am really stuck or in a brain fog, I really do love a bit of colouring. So this is perfect if I get a bit of a block about my writing.

I have only had this notebook a couple of days, but I have already managed to fill up a whole page with blog ideas, and I finally feeling like I am falling a little bit in love with this space again.

I still am not 100% sure which journey to take ultimately with what I am doing aside from being mum, wife and house owner, pet owner but I know that I am wanting blogging in it.

So I am really pleased my creative juices are starting to flow again and that I have ideas and am happy to be writing again.
