2015 Is About…

2012 our whole year revolved around loosing Rhianna Lily.

2013 our whole year revolved around hiding Boo’s pregnancy and being just a tad stressed.

2014 our whole year revolved around the wedding!

2015 is all about the house, garden and studying.

We have been in this house, for over seven years now and we have always planned to do things to it, quite radical things especially downstairs. But things have always got in the way, or we have never had the money to actually start, let alone complete them. This year we had a leak in a pipe that ruined a lot of the downstairs walls so really sped up the work that we wanted to get done downstairs.

The past few weeks Mr L has been working hard on the kitchen, we currently have a brand new kitchen in our house, and are now waiting for one wall to be knocked down and another to be made into a double door wall rather than just a single door.

We have further plans as well, finally sorting out the garden, which has been a massive ongoing project every year. But every year it seems to get ruined, either by ill dogs, or overgrown puppies. We are hoping that both the dogs are settled and growing up now, so they will react ok to a decent garden. I really want to sort the front garden as well, as it has been the same for the last seven years, the only thing that we did was pulled out a tree, and put up a fence, which is half done. I want to get the hedges sorted, and the fence finished and would love some gorgeous trees, and an area for Rhianna, a little flower garden so to speak. We are restricted with what to do on her grave and I don’t want to be restricted I want her to have a gorgeous space, a space that the boys can go to in our house and think about her. Somewhere that is near a tree, so we can things on it in the summer, decorate it at Christmas and basically always have an area that is just for her.

There is loads and loads to do, we are currently in a home, that has boxes in every room, that the bedrooms have the lounge stuff in, and the hallway has doors laying on the floors, and shelving propped up against the walls. But we will get there.

By the end of 2015 our house will be sorted.

It will be decorated, it will be as we finally want it and then I think we can actually relax!
