17 Week Old Boo
So its official Boo is now 17 weeks old.
Not quite sure where that time has gone, it has gone so fast and it is very scary!

He is a happy chappy, he finds the craziest things funny, such as getting dressed and looking at himself in the mirror.
We are now getting lots of giggles, and lots of spit in our face as he tries to blow raspberries. He is teething and a dribble monster is an understatement, that along with his reflux means our washing machine does a lot of work in one week.
He loves to kick, he loves his baby massage and most mornings we now wake up with him in a completely different position in his cot to how we laid him down for sleep. He goes through the night waking about 6am for a feed, and is a complete star.
He adores his big brother, idolizes his Daddy and is a complete and utter Mummy’s boy. He really likes nothing better than to be sat on you having a hug.
His reflux is still there and we are still having issues, mainly with his weight. He has dropped through the centiles and we are now on regular checks trying to make them go up, dropping down to the 9th last week at just 12.14 he has leaped up this week to 13.7 but is still in the 9th centile. So we will be back again in two weeks to check how his weight is doing again.
However even though he is small in weight, he has a proper pot belly, chunky monkey legs and loves every bottle we give him. Downing most of them in seconds, however he also brings a lot of them back up again. But we are on the right track.
The most important thing is Mr L and I are not worried and actually are very chilled about it, he is doing well he is putting on weight and in the time that he dropped a centile he was very poorly with a hideous virus so that probably has much more to do with it.
The best thing is he has found his voice, and he coos and laughs and screams and shouts and it is great to hear. There are two voices in the house now, and he will spend hours cooing at Baba and Baba laughing at him. They have a special love for each other and it is lovely watching it grow as they grow.
The adoration that Boo shows Baba when he watches him, and the effort he puts into trying to sit up to be near his brother is amazing and it really wont be long before he is off and moving all around the place! But for now we will enjoy the head pivots, that stays in the same place and his body moves around in a circle, and we shall watch him for hours gazing at his hands, moving his fingers and just staring. As they really are an amazing thing and we will soak up every moment of his growing. As he is doing it way to fast!

He is beautiful! My son had reflux, eventually solved by a milk thickener – is now a strapping eight year old x
Thank you, we will possibly have to go to a milk thickener if he hasn’t put on weight and kept it on within a month! x
