What a Weekend!

And not in a good way!

It rained all weekend, we had a BBQ planned for Saturday night and it rained and rained and rained. So we decided we may have a takeaway, but with one friend having to go to Essex, another feeling ill and another’s car breaking down. We thought we had better just cancel the last friend in case anything else happened!

So instead we had a quiet night in, with a takeaway but nice and quiet!

Sunday it rained. Did I mention it rained all weekend!

We went out to get a few bits and bobs as we couldn’t really bare to be in any more! But it was still raining. Baba feel asleep on the way home, so we had a very chilled afternoon. Mr L played the computer with his brother, Baba slept and I watched Eastenders! A proper chilled Sunday afternoon, if only it stayed that way!

We went back up to Mr L’s parents and suddenly our car stopped! No reason, it just conked out for a better word! After a few hours of trying to work it out, Mr L admitted defeat and we called our rescue company. They were out quickly I have to say, and took one look at the car and said the cam belt had gone!

We are now waiting to hear from the garage to check it is just the cam belt and that the whole engine hasn’t gone! Send good vibes our way!
