Walking

So in less than 20 days now actually only 15 Days Mr L and I will be walking 10 miles in the Moonlight Walk to raise money for our local Hospice, St Wilfrid’s.

Now I have never been much off a walker, and I was doing really well, walking the dog and increasing the area and the time that I was walking each day. Then I got sick!

Never good, I literally could not walk from the top of the stairs to the bottom without needing to lay down, I had no balance and felt giddy all the time. This lasted four days before I actually felt good enough and had enough energy to get back to normal.

This has really thrown me, and my training has been hit hard, I haven’t done any at all! I know awful only 15 days and training has come to a halt. Totally stupid I know, and now I am a little scared to be honest. I am not sure how I am going to complete this.

But there is a gorgeous friend of mine that I keep seeing in my mind, she had her final days at this hospice her wish was for us to raise money for the hospice so I will bloody well do it. However hard it may be.

I need to get back on this training wagon and I need to seriously sort out my food so that I am eating some good energy food, and get motivated to walk for England. Every day I need to take every opportunity to walk, that car needs to disappear for a while. I need to walk to and from town. I need to walk the dog, I need to walk to my mums, to my MIL’s go for long walks on the beach. Long walks through towns, over the hills, over the downs. You name it we need to walk it!

So please support me, as well as this being an almost impossible task, it is an important task I have talked about how much everything costs in this post, and don’t want to bore you all with the figures again. But I do want to be motivated for this walk and I want to help the hospice as much as possible. Please support me, and sponsor Mr L and I to get this walk done! You can sponsor us here and we really appreciate every penny donated! I honestly do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
