Tropic Tuesday – Great Barrier and Skin Shade
As you all know I am an Independent Tropic Ambassador and one of the ranges I absolutely love is their Sun Care range so today I wanted to chat about it on here and explain it a bit more.
Starting with sun damage and SPF.
Did you know sun damage is the primary cause of ageing in our skin, one of the best ways to protect your skin from sun damage is by wearing SPF.
Over 67% of people in Britain don’t use enough sun cream.
A lot of us go outside just for a few moments and don’t worry about putting any sun cream on, and a lot of us only think about SPF when the sun comes out.
However we should be wearing some form of SPF every single day.
UV rays happen all year round, it is not just when the sun is out, your skin is still exposed to UV rays even when it is cold, windy and cloudy in the winter.
So you need protection all year round,365 days a year.
SPF needs to be Broad Spectrum you need to have UVA and UVB protection and you need a decent SPF as well. We generally use SPF 50 in this house which blocks out 98% of the UVB burning rays.
SPF and sun cream isnt as simple as just wearing some suncream on the sunny days.
Tropic have a whole sun care range to help keep you covered all year round.
They have the…
