Tropic Make Up Collection

Every March and September Tropic have a Glambassadors event and release some new products.

This March was all about the make up, not one, two or ten items were launched, no there was a massive launch of all the make up range.

There were new products and there was a massive new branding.

There were so many products launched that there is no way I could talk about all the products in one blog post.

So instead I will be doing a general post about the make up today and over the next few Tuesdays I will be targeting the new products and telling you a little about each of them.

I ordered my collection and have had the first part sent out to me and am waiting for the second part of the collection now. (Yes it was that big a launch).

When it arrived I was so excited, and the fact that as an ambassador we have a massive colour book it was even more exciting.

One of the reasons behind this Tropic make up revamp and new collection is that Tropic is committed to leading the way in greener beauty innovation.

This make up has been a long time coming and it has been developed for the last couple of years. As Susie wanted a make up range that is sustainable, effective and still has the potential to produce beautiful looks for everyone.

This new makeup range features refillable packaging, compostable pouches and a refill returns scheme. How great is that. This is something that I love about Tropic I love that they are always looking after the environment and creating more and more environmentally friendly products.

That is not all, every product is freshly milled, pressed, blended and poured right here in the UK with natural, botanical extracts that are cruelty-free, vegan and free from toxic chemicals.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this make up and use it for the first time on myself. And I managed to do it at the weekend for Mother’s Day.

I created this look using more than I would usually use to be honest, but it was a special day and I had time to have a little play in the morning.

The items I used were:

Barely nude mineral foundation
Brulee illuma concealer
Golden apricot pressed colour
Setting powder
Spring lily pressed highlighter
After glow pressed highlighter
Cashew pressed shadow
Pebble pressed shadow
Cedar defining powder
Brown wax eyeliner
Black mascara
Fresh Fig Lipstick

I was so impressed with it all. It is so easy to put on, and it lasts the lipstick lasted for a few hours much longer than the older ones ever did.

And I love the new brushes. There are many alternatives now and I love that each one is now white, and has the name of the brush actually on the handle. But while being improved they haven’t lost the super soft feeling that they have always had.

But the absolute best thing is the palette, once you have picked your make up you can fill up your palette and take this with you so you can top up throughout the day as and when you need to.

This customisable palette is great for everyone on the go for three main reasons.

Firstly it is customisable you can choose your favourite products to build a bespoke look.

Secondly it is compact it has a sleek design and is perfect for taking with you to apply on the go.

Thirdly it is really meaning you can cut down on beauty product waste by only buying the products you really use and slotting them back into the same palette. (Each of the products can be brought individually and you can swap and change your palette to suit your mood, and what you doing that day).

I loved being able to have this on me for the day and using it when it was needed.

It is so much easier than taking a full make up bag out with all the products you have worn, now all you need is the products and a couple of brushes that is all!

Simple really.

I love this update and can not wait to embrace the colours, and learn different looks with all the make up over the next few weeks.

This make up is currently on preorder through ambassadors only until April 7th so if you would like anything from the new make up range currently you can only order through myself or your local ambassador.
