The Gallery – Trees
As soon as I saw this was the gallery theme this week I knew exactly which picture I wanted to post.
Baba and I discovered this tree on a recent walk with Tito and I think it is an amazing tree.
It really struck me how massive, it was and that it was a huge tree that was laying on the ground. If trees could speak I think it would have a million words to say, the things it would have seen in the years and years that it was standing tall. Now it has fallen no one is disturbing it, it is being left in piece to do its own thing, and even though it is laying on the ground it still has a rich beauty. A beauty that I don’t actually think you always see in trees that are standing. The beauty of the tree inside, you can see in the depths of the tree and that is why I love this picture.
