The Gallery – Simple Pleasures
There is something about the sound, the smell, the way the wind blows in your hair. Something that makes me feel free.
I can go there when I am happy, sad, angry, hungover, tired or just feeling blurgh it doesn’t mind. Whatever mood I arrive in I come home feeling calm, peaceful, free, refreshed, renewed.
It can be raining, sunny, windy, hot, cold, warm, or fresh I don’t care. I can go with family, friends, children, dogs, on my own I am not bothered. Any of the above will do.
We used to live near one for a while, but the flat was too small, Mr L wanted to come back home! But we haven’t moved that far it is only a small journey in the car. One day we will be back again by the sea, near a beach, near my simple pleasure.
Meaning everyday I can have a few moments where I feel calm, and at peace. Wow wouldn’t that be nice!

oh I KNOW that feeling. one day I’ll live near the sea too 🙂
I loved living near the sea but we just didn’t have the space and Mr L missed being nearer home. Which was a nightmare, but we got a great house back home. But now there is a real pull to go back near the sea. I think with children and a dog it is a wonderful place to be near! xxx
