The Gallery – Chilled Out
Baba has grown a lot in the past few weeks, the daytime naps have all but gone, I may be lucky when he is on a long journey in the car otherwise they have finished. He has ditched them completely.
Which means he goes to sleep very early in the evening, so Mr L and I have longer evenings. If he ever manages to stay awake! But it also means Baba is tired from about 3pm onwards.
Which can be problematic. He didn’t get that he could just lay down, not sleep but just lay still and rest! He used to have massive screaming fits that I was trying to make him sleep and he didn’t want to and it resulted in huge tantrums.
However in the last week something seems to have clicked.
He has started to just chill out…

I must have been going wrong, because I suggested he lay on the sofa! Stupid mummy why on earth would you pick the COMFY sofa when you can lay on the HARD floor!!!
The theme this week at the Gallery was Chilled Out go take a look at how everyone else chills out.

Sometimes my three year-old gets home from nursery and falls asleep on the carpet in the frog position. It sounds cute, but he’s an absolute nightmare when he wakes up. Much better to just chill in front of the box, like your boy’s doing.
Yes it is better to just chill xx
Haha what a lovely pic – love his crabby shorts! 🙂
Thanks I do as well xx
Ha ha! Bless him. Sometimes I prefer to sit on the hard floor, rather then the soft sofa. It’s better for my back.
Yes so does Mr L but Baba is only 2! xx
He looks wonderfully chilled on that picture. My little boy is going through the same thing at the moment
Doesn’t he it is a hard stage I have to say xx
Lovely hair and wonderful boy and just an adorable picture entirely
Awww thank you so much xx
Yeah, what were you thinking with that sofa thing?! Kids. Our parents were right when they said ‘its all trial and error!’
Oh yes they were totally right with that! xx
