Planner Planning For 2020
As it is nearly Christmas and everyone is running around frantically Christmas shopping, wrapping and everything in between I have quietly been planning my planners for 2020.
Now I love my filofax but it just hasn’t worked for me this year.
I actually ended up abandoning ship from my filofax midyear and brought a tiny pocket diary for my bag that was an academic year diary and it is working wonders with listing what I am doing here and there.
But I wanted more for 2020.
This year I have tweaked my bullet journal to work for me only doing a few big standard pages each month and don’t worry about daily pages and it really works well for me.
So for 2020 I wanted rid of my filofax I wanted a different diary and I wanted to use my bullet journal, my work journal and my gratitude journal and my to do lists.
Sounds a lot but it really isn’t.

I went for this journal in the end it is actually only 26 weeks so it will tie in with my academic diary perfectly and it has a lot of lists, gratitude goals etc for each day. This I feel is the way to go for me and I am really looking forward to start it.
But because I am using a few books and different pencils and pens, it all becomes a bit of a mess where ever I do my journalling and it isn’t something I love about it all and is one of the reason why sometimes things just get put away and left.
So I went and got one of my caddies and it is the perfect solution.

It fits everything I need in it.

There is space for my main journal and my academic diary.

There is space for my Tropic books, my to do list, my gratitude journal and my bullet journal.

There is space for all my pens and pencils.

All around the edges there is storage for clips, stickers, rulers, notecards and any other odds and sods that I find that will be perfect for my planners.
And the best thing these caddies make all of my planners and planning supplies portable.

They generally live on my office table in the kitchen but now if I want to do some planning, bullet journalling or just general journalling in the lounge or in my bedroom I can because everything I need is in this caddy and I can pick it up and move it to where ever I want it to be!
Which hopefully will make my planners even more interesting and fun in 2020 than they have been this year.
Have you sorted out your planners for 2020 yet?
