Pinterest

So I have a new obsession, it has been there a while but I haven’t ever used it quite as much as I am now. I seem to be checking it most days and seeing what is happening and I love it.

I find it inspiring, I find some wonderful things that I would like in the future to do, or things that I would like to try. For a scrapbooker the whole concept is fantastic as it is like my own online scrapbook, from the minute I saw it I loved it just because of that and the love has grown over the past few months.

Of course I am talking about Pinterest. I have been a member for a while and you can find me here. But I have never really used it as much as before. At first it was one of those things that I joined did a couple of things on and then left it as I didn’t really get what I was doing with it.

Then I realised a lot of scrapbooking items were on there, and lots of craft items in general. This spurred me on to use it even more, and it really became my online record of ideas and inspiration. Then a friend was going to be getting married and we all used it a lot then for wedding ideas and dresses. That is when I first became addicted.

We were all on there throughout the day, searching for things looking at things and pinning things here there and every where. Since then I have never really stopped, I have found things for Baba’s party, his bedroom, stuff for the house, ideas for painting, organising, weddings, art, food and scrapbooking. I love it and I can literally be on there pottering for a while most days if I allowed myself.

There are lots of people I recognise from other places, crafters, scrapbookers, bloggers all seem to use Pinterest and it is great to see all these people in the same place pinning away and finding inspiration and ideas from all over the place.
